This study aims to determine the effect of land use changes on water absorption in Kemilau Baru Village, District. East Baturaja, Regency. Ogan Komering Ulu. The procedure of this research includes the stages that can be presented in a flow chart. The research method used is the survey method, including to obtain primary and secondary data. The results showed that Kemilau Baru Village has an area of 2,438, 05 ha, with uses as settlements, vacant land, agriculture, offices as well as for trade and services with an area of 680ha, 908.05 ha, 800 ha, 100 ha, and 20 ha respectively. ha, with percentages of 28%, 33%, 32%, 5%, and 2%, respectively.
