The technique emphasizes on sensing the stator current of the induction motor and analyzing the current for detecting the fault. The technique is minimalist and uses less number of sensors and thus cost-effective and can also be easily implemented. The technique is also non-invasive and thus less intricate. The proposed scheme can be used on-line for fault diagnosis.
