A key parameter affecting the maximum achievable data reception and transmission rate in a channel of a given width and at the maximum permissible transmitter power is the signal-to-noise ratio in the channel, therefore it is extremely important to estimate the noise contribution of the switching process. To do this, it is first necessary to understand what real noise contribution the measurement system makes, the obligatory element of which is the radio frequency spectrum analyzer.
