This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that students' learning motivation was influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation is motivation that comes from within to do something without external stimuli, such as desire and pleasure. While extrinsic motivation is motivation to do something because of outside influences, such as parents, teachers, friends, atmosphere and environment. Based on the results of the interviews, the researchers found that anything that is not in accordance with what someone likes cannot affect the motivation to learn the Koran, let alone to improve it. Learning motivation has an effect on the learning process. 摘要
