Active Cyber-Resilient Control for a PV System at Microgrid Level
Smart microgrids are the basic components of the next-generation power grid known as smart grid. To achieve a more cost-effective functionality and enhance the reliability of smart microgrids, innovative techniques for cyber-attack detection and cyber-resilient control need to be addressed. For this purpose, this paper considers various distributed generation resources, including wind, solar and battery, as a hybrid renewable microgrid. A novel model-based cyber-attack detection and diagnosis scheme based on fuzzy modeling and identification approach is presented for the PV system at microgrid level. Also, an integrated cyber-resilient controller for the DC/DC pulse-width modulation (PWM) converter is proposed to mitigate the impacts of cyber-attacks. Finally, simulations are performed in MATLAB/Simulink environment to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.
