This paper proposes a practical carbon emission calculation method based on energy balance table and an improved impact factor decomposition model using addition-based logarithmic mean Divisia index (LMDI) algorithm with extended Kaya identity which takes energy consumption structure of target city into consideration. Numerical analysis is conducted on the testbed of Jinhua city. The results demonstrate the low-carbon trend in Jinhua and indicate the contribution of different impact factors to emission.
