We have analysed the existing collision-resolution techniques and used the acquired knowledge to specify a new collision-resolution technique. The proposal consists of a communication protocol for low speed, long range IoT networks with a large number of IoT sensors. The Access Point enables planning of periodically repeated communication into timeslots, which are organized in the transmission timetable. For each timeslot, only one IoT device is assigned to send data.
