Composite gray and black colors, based on the triad, lose saturation in deep shadows, and as a result become lighter. A black color, incompatible, when applying a layer of varnish acquires a chromatic part. Based on the analysis of experimental data, recommend use a comprehensive approach when varnishing printed products with Soft Touch varnish. First, it is necessary to carry out test printing on new materials to set up the effect of the varnished coating on color change. Secondly, having information about the nature of the color change, make them at the stage of prepress preparation of the original layouts.
