Self-trapping of light in a photorefractive organic glass
We report the first observation of optical spatial solitons in an organic photorefractive monolithic glass. Self-trapping of light as well as optically induced focusing-to-defocusing switching was observed, owning to the orientationally enhanced photorefractive nonlinearity.
