Electron optic study of inflammation infiltrating cells in juvenile periodontopathic tissue showed the presence of "nuclear-body"-type structures and of nuclear and cytoplasmic virus-like inclusions, which predominated in cells presenting degenerative modifications commonly encountered in malignant cells.
