[Evaluation of the learning of biochemistry in the UNAM Dental School, 1990-91].

Taking into account the importance of the teaching-learning process, Multiple Linear Regression was used to measure the degree of learning attained by 470 students in 12 biochemical subjects, under nine professors from four different training areas: chemistry, biology, medicine and dentistry. In the 17 student groups (nine in the morning shift, eight on the evening schedule), significant differences were found in the biochemical subjects under study (p = 0), among the nine individual professors (p = 0), between the morning vs. evening shift students (p = 0.014) and between the 17 student groups (p = 0.04). No significant differences were observed in professors within each of the four different teaching areas (p = 0.27).
