At these meetings, the Council discussed the political developments in Kosovo, focusing on the need for Belgrade and Pristina to resume the European Union-facilitated bilateral dialogue, as well as implementation of the first agreement on principles governing the normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade. The Council also focused on the work of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), 1 as well as the role of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), the Kosovo Force (KFOR), and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
