[The clinical application of porcelain laminate veneers].

After a brief review of the literature in the laminate veneers the clinical application is described. The appropriate case selection is mentioned in relation to the function of the Stomatognathic System. The clinical application of the method follows, where the preparation of the teeth, the impression technique and the cementation of the laminate veneers with the new resin systems is described. It is concluded that porcelain laminate veneers could be used successfully as an alternative in the aesthetic restoration of the anterior teeth.
