Performance of autocorrelation receivers for ultra-wideband communications with PPM in multipath channels
A single-user ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system employing an autocorrelation receiver in conjunction with binary block-coded pulse-position modulation (PPM) and transmitted reference (TR) signaling in indoor multipath channels is considered. A general framework for analyzing the system performance is provided and numerical results are obtained by employing measured indoor channel data.
