The support of French language and Francophone culture through cultural diplomacy, the worldwide campaign for French, and a variety of local organizations and initiatives is also discussed. The role of French language skills and cultural knowledge is also discussed in terms of self-transformation and global citizenship within the context of multilingualism and bilingualism.
