Improving the Fiber Coupling Efficiency with a Fiber End Face Polishing Method Based on Quartz Tube
A method for specialty fiber polishing supported by thick-walled quartz tubes is proposed, enhancing the coupling efficiency by 15% in Tm-doped polarization maintaining fibers compared to cleaved ones.
