In this paper, data communication system using UHF spectrum for marine radio was designed and implemented. The system design was done by utilizing a micro controller with its supporting modules. The implemented data communication system could work on 300–400 MHz frequency with its bit rate 32,59 byte/s and 30 meters for communication range.
