The growing requirement of a new generation of wireless communication system for high-speed data communication and bandwidth makes the scarcity of spectrum resources an inevitable problem. With new spectrum methods and strategies coming out, more efforts have been made to this field. This article compares and analyzes recent different dynamic spectrum access methods, on basis of which we propose a modified spectrum access method to enhance spectrum efficiency. Meanwhile simulation and analysis of this method is presented at the end of this article. A new feasible spectrum access algorithm is proposed using hill climbing approach to computes the parameters of spectrum access. Then collaborative access and non-collaborative spectrum access are different in estimating the interference temperature to the primary receivers.
