In the future, NE will be the major power supply of the power system, and it’s of great significance to accurately assess the regional power grid to the NE accommodation capacity. Therefore, an analysis method of the NE accommodation capacity of the regional power grid with energy storage (ES) based on the typical daily is proposed. Firstly, based on the impact of NE and grid structural features in the regional power grid, the main factors affecting NE accommodation capacity of the regional power grid with ES are analyzed, and the principle of ES to enhance the NE accommodation of regional power grid is analyzed. Secondly, the mathematical model of evaluating the NE accommodation capacity of the regional power grid is built.
