A new H.264/AVC watermarking algorithm based on the sort of prediction-residual energy is proposed in this paper. Through comprehensively predicting the prediction-residual energy of all image blocks, The selecting priority of each image block for watermarking embedding is set according to the prediction-residual energy, the larger the value, the higher the selecting priority.
