A Raw Echo Simulation Method Based on Reference Signal Translation for InSAS
Aiming the low efficiency of time domain simulator of raw echo for interferometric synthetic aperture sonar, a fast raw echo simulation method based on reference signal translation is proposed. In the process of measuring the echo of each receiver, the time delay which depends on distance is translated into the translation along range and a two-dimensional reference signal array is established. The starting point and end point of echo can be located quickly in the process of echo generation, which can efficiently avoid redundant computation and greatly improve the efficiency of raw echo calculation. The new method is beneficial to testing the following algorithms such as synthetic aperture imaging and interferometric signal processing. Point target simulation and scene simulation experiments confirm the availability of this method.
