Development Mobile Learning Application : Clinical Education Management Information System (Cemis) Among Health Science Students In Indonesia

Background: Most of the clinical learning process in Indonesia is still conventional and not yet integrated between needs assessment and mobile learning outcomes of clinical education, so it requires learning media based on mobile learning applications that are not limited by space and time and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Methods: This type of research is Research and Development (R&D).  Research product development design using the ADDIE model with 3 research instruments, namely; Product validation tests by technology experts and material experts and product practicality tests by users. The sampling technique was porposive sampling with a case study of 30 students practicing the clinical profession of nurses, 5 material experts and 3 technology experts. Results: Mobile learning application Clinical Education Management Information System (CEMIS) with users namely academic Preceptors, clinical Preceptors and students and has 12 features which include components of Cognitive ability, Psychomotor ability, Affective ability, Clinical Education Learning Outcomes and Supporting Factors. While the results of product validity tests by technology experts amounted to 87.90% (Very feasible) and material expert assessments amounted to 88.52% (Very feasible) while the product practicality test results were 85.05% (Practical). Conclusion: CEMIS's mobile learning application is declared feasible and practical to use as a clinical learning medium for academic preceptors, clinical preceptors and students in accordance with the learning outcomes and clinical learning standards in Indonesia.
