Solar cell leads the list of renewable energy sources attracting the scientist owing to its tremendous potential. Dye Sensitized Solar cells (DSSC) are considered to be eco friendly form of the solar cell. Natural dyes are environmentally and economically good choice to fabricate the (DSSCs) rather than the synthetic dyes. Several plants extracts are used as dyes to act as the sensitizer in DSSC. In this work we have prepared mesoporous TiO2 anode and the Al/C as counter electrode. The assembled DSSCs taking pomegranate extract as a natural dyes shows maximum of open circuit voltage (VOC) and short circuit current (ISC) comes out to be ~0.89 and ~5.46 µA respectively and the overall efficiency of the device is 0.89% among the other dyes.
