Wireless Devices HTML-interface for Medical Applications
The possibility of implementing an HTML user interface for a stand-alone microcontroller device is tested out. The wireless Wi-Fi ECG monitor is considered as an example. It's shown that the standard HTML-5 and Java-Script features, such as Canvas, Web-Socket and other, are quite enough to build a full-fledged user interface that is not attached to a specific hardware and software platform. Furthermore, any standard device (laptop, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) with a Web-browser can be used as a user terminal. The use of Web-based HTML interface radically simplifies the development of standalone medical applications.
