Hence effective path computation, definition and deployment are some of the key challenges facing SDN operation. Along these lines, this work introduces a novel SDN management and orchestration framework that implements a resilient Next-Generation Path Computation Element (NG-PCE) to compute and deploy resilient protection paths.
