Intangible Cultural Heritage in Animated Cinema: Context, Images, Interpretations

The article considers the features of the process of actualization and popularization of the intangible cultural heritage of Russia through the introduction of its images into the plots of domestic animated films. The research analyzes the techniques used in the artistic interpretation of heritage objects and their individual elements, the context and mechanisms of perception of the created images, their impact on the authenticity, integrity and reproduction of the illustrated heritage, as well as identifies methodological problems and promising areas of use of this technology in the protection of the intangible cultural heritage of the Russian Federation.
