This association makes way for several security issues that are associated with the cloud or the internet. However, a number of flaws have been found that will keep the Internet of Things as a technology at risk. These issues often go unseen or ignored until the threat is caused. The domain of threats associated with IoT is extremely hazardous and complex. Thus, the protocols used for the security of the application layer are of utmost importance.
