Lokutor is a partially autonomous agent, inhabiting a 3D virtual environment. Its control system consists of a behavior-based reactive layer, a deliberative control layer and a motivational subsystem. Lokutor’s domain knowledge, its behavior modules and its communicative behavior is encoded in an integrated multimodal format, which has been implemented using XML.
