With the significant increase in broadband new services on the Internet, we make use of SDN technologies to implement a central controller of OFS and based on SOA (Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers) technology to deploy OFSs as the future applications of IDC. The proposed OFS using SOA technologies without optical buffers can quickly transfer big data to the output ports. OFS based on SDN technology implements a simple priority queuing and scheduling algorithm. OFS can be allocated to each server's virtual optical path and the actual optical path. 摘要
本文提出基于软件定义网络(SDN)技术设计两个与IDC (Internet Data Center)相关的OFS (Optical Flow Switch)应用。随着互联网上宽带新业务的显著增加,我们利用SDN技术实现OFS的中央控制器,并基于SOA (Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers,半导体光放大器)技术部署OFS作为IDC的未来应用。采用SOA技术的OFS无需光缓冲器,可以快速将大数据传输到输出端口。基于SDN技术的OFS实现了一种简单的优先级排队调度算法。OFS可以分配给每台服务器的虚拟光路和实际光路。OFS方法也可以用于未来的IDC应用,提供更快、更节能、更可靠的解决方案。
