The range of communication is a major drawback in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth based IoT devices. This drawback can be controlled by using a technology with long range wireless communication with low power consumption. LPWAN is a wireless technology that can be used to communicate over long distance with low power consumption. LPWAN technology plays significant and crucial role in making this possible by increasing the connectivity range at lower cost.
