Propulsion drive converter must be at least 20 MW with tough voltage limitation to explore and use Arctic region. This paper is describing alternative simplified approach to analyze multichannel power converter which is represented by MISO system with similar input channels. Described approach limit the time constants of single channel in converter and external load circuit. This restriction allow reducing rank of system to equivalent with single input channel. In common power converters time constants is hard to split up but in low frequency high power propulsion drives this approach can be used.
