Implante e provisionalização imediatos em área estética – relato de caso
The smile is striking on people’s faces and a large part of the population craves the presence of all teeth, an enviable aesthetic, and a healthy dentition. Regardless of social class, several factors can contribute to the loss of dental elements, such as irreversible failures of endodontic treatments, periodontal diseases, advanced cavities, trauma, and root fractures. With the great evolution of Implantology, the implant appeared with immediate provisionalization, contributing to the loss of dental elements in aesthetic areas. This study aimed to report a clinical case of immediate implant installation and provisionalization after element 11 extraction and filling the gap with biomaterial. Such procedures are fundamental for maintaining horizontal and vertical dimensions in order to reestablish aesthetics and function. After imaging examinations, minimally traumatic extraction of the dental element was continued, installation of the implant and preparation of temporary restoration, conditioning of the gingival profile and, subsequently, molding to deliver the final crown in E.max ceramic. A clinical approach allows patient satisfaction with immediate aesthetics, preservation of the gingival profile, and reduced working time.
