The results showed that the most frequently committed errors were article, to be, word order, subject-verb agreement, spelling and grammar. It is suggested that the students study more in how to develop a sentence in English to avoid error in writing. 摘要

本研究的目的是调查穆罕默德迪亚大学英语系第三学期学生的描述性段落写作中的语言错误。本研究主要集中在句子上,因为研究者发现英语学生的句子结构错误可能导致误解。收集并分析了十篇描述性段落写作。结果显示,最常犯的错误是冠词、to be、词序、主谓一致、拼写和语法。建议学生多学习如何发展英语句子以避免写作错误。这项研究还表明,对学生写作错误的明确反馈是真正需要的。

An Analysis of Students’ Errors in Writting Descriptive Paragraph
