Following the cross-linguistic study, language play typology, based on modification mechanisms, can be categorized as insertion, rearrangement, institution and deletion. As language play is a communication device, advantages gained from this phenomenon are received by language users and researchers. Although, there are plenty of Thai language plays, no study about language play has been done.
