Complexity Comparison of Multi-Band CAP and DMT for Practical High Speed Data Center Interconnects
We analyze and compare the complexity of IMDD-based 56-Gb/s Multi-band CAP and DMT over 80-km DCF-free SMFs for data center interconnects. Multi-band CAP with small sub-band count has comparable complexity to DMT at similar OSNR performance.
