This phase shifter consists 3-bit digital phase shifter cell and a 45° continuous tunable analog phase shifter cell. A SPDT switch is used to switch the signal path. The composite right/left hand transmission line is employed in analog phase shifter cell to achieve the low path loss and the compact layout. The proposed phase shifter is implemented with 0.15 um GaAs pHEMT process. The maximum power consumption of the phase shifter is 63 mW with a 2.5 V supply voltage. The post layout simulation shows that the phase shifter achieves 360° phase shift, and the phase error is better than 2.62° of the 3-bit digital phase shifter and the loss is better than −12.8 dB. 摘要
本文提出了一种相对相移范围为360°的连续可调谐低损耗移相器。该移相器由3位数字移相器单元和45°连续可调模拟移相器单元组成。SPDT开关用于切换信号路径。在模拟移相器中采用复合左右传输线,实现了低路径损耗和紧凑的布局。所提出的移相器采用0.15 um GaAs pHEMT工艺实现。移相器的最大功耗为63mw,电源电压为2.5 V。后置仿真表明,移相器实现360°相移,相位误差优于3位数字移相器的2.62°,损耗优于−12.8 dB。该移相器实现了37 ~ 42ghz的工作带宽,可应用于5G通信。
