An application example of fiber optic networks is Fiber To The Home (FTTH), a fiber-optic network that directly connects to home subscribers. In this research, a prototype of an FO trainer (optical source and optical detector) was designed. An Arduino Nano hardware platform has been selected for implementation of FO trainer.
