In experiment 2, development of embryos exposed to cytochalasin B during in vitro maturation (CytoB-IVM) or during activation (CytoB-ACT) was compared. Developmental rates did not differ between diploidization strategies, even when three agents were employed to induce activation. Both groups, CytoB-IVM and CytoB-ACT, tended to maintain diploidy.
