The automatic generation method of basis set of path is discussed in this paper. It is built by searching the control flow graph of a program by depth-first searching method. In order to avoiding that the algorithm will never stop and reducing the searching procedure, the sub-path from the multi-indegree nodes to the end node of a program and the sub-path that contains a loop is recorded during the construction of a basis path.
