The ideas developed here are applied in the microwave domain to realize a high gain omnidirectional monopole antenna using conformal metamaterial which is composed of metallic cylinder array. The measured results show that the gain of the monopole is increased from 5.0 dB to 7.3 dB and maintains its omni-directivity. The Design of High Gain Omni Directional Monopole Based on Conformal Metamaterial Cover
