In this letter, a projection imaging method is proposed for noise suppression. The proposed method utilizes the symmetry of the cross-correlation function of the ideal echo signal and the realistic one to suppress the interference of noise. The performance of the proposed method is experimentally investigated in comparison to that of the conventional time-domain back-projection (BP) method. Novel imaging method based on cross-correlation function for suppressing the interference of noise
