An idea is proposed in this paper by applying the PI and Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) to control the speed of SEDCM. Simulink model with and without PI and FLC has been developed in Matlab to analyze the performance of dc motor. Based on simulation results it is said that control characteristics of FLC are better than the conventional PI controller.
