A Social Network Model Based on the Community Evolutions

Owing to the rapid development of the Internet and transportation, the space limitation among people has been broken. Compared with 20 years ago, when many classical network models such as the Small-World Network were introduced, people have more opportunities to enter into diverse communities both online and offline now. In this paper, we introduced a mechanism to explain how we entered a certain community and became friends with members in it firstly. On this basis, we introduced a social network model based on the evolution on both intra-community and inter-communities. Also, we gave the forming process of our model and discussed its geometrical features. In the last, we compared our model with the traditional NW Small-World, did experiments to test our model and explained why our model could depict the real social network better.
