Pronunciation variants of language units (based on the material of the Hill Mari language)

Горномарийский язык остается не описанным до настоящего момента, более того, число носителей языка катастрофически уменьшается, а по данным переписи 2010 года, горных мари насчитывалось 23000 человек The article deals with pronunciation or orthoepy standards of the Hill Mari language, which include the basic rules for pronunciation of vowels and consonants, the rules for pronunciation of combinations of consonants, the rules for pronunciation of suffixes and particles, the rules for pronunciation of individual grammatical forms, and the peculiarities of pronunciation of borrowed words. The Hill Mari language is one of the languages, which remains undescribed, moreover, the number of native speakers is drastically decreasing, and according to the 2010 census, there were 23,000 Hill Maris.
