Digital baseband transmitter and receiver designs and receiver algorithms are discussed. The block diagram of the standard transmitter and a proposed receiver design will be provided for measurement based performance evaluation. Within the receiver blocks, each measurement point and its impact on performance measurement will be discussed in detail. In addition, some performance measurement results will be provided with detailed discussions.
