The plant expression vector pXY60,which contained XY355 promoter and the maize Lc regulatory gene, was constructed. The vector was respectively transfered into tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum)and petunia(Petunia hybrida )by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated method. The results of PCR analysis among these regenerated plants indicated that Lc gene was integrated into the genomes of transgenic tobacco and petunia, respectively.
