150 YEARS OF THE FIRST SPECIAL COURSE FOR THE EDUCATION OF OBSTETRICIANS IN RUSSIA

Развитие акушерства на пути от повивального искусства к формированию отдельной научной области связано с именами многих выдающихся ученых-медиков. В структуре междисциплинарных связей акушерство неотделимо от анатомии, физиологии, гинекологии. Знания по этим дисциплинам накапливались на протяжении длительного времени, а фундаментальные открытия ученых позволили сформировать научный подход к оказанию помощи роженицам, родильницам и новорожденным. В статье представлены основные исторические вехи в развитии акушерства, где особое место занимает внедрение в практику системного подхода к подготовке акушерок в образовательных учреждениях. The development of obstetrics on the way to the formation of a separate scientific field is associated with the names of many outstanding medical scientists. In the structure of interdisciplinary relations, obstetrics is inseparable from anatomy, physiology, and gynecology. Knowledge in these disciplines has been accumulating for a long time, and the fundamental discoveries of scientists have made it possible to form a scientific approach to help women and newborns. The article presents the main historical milestones in the development of obstetrics, where a special place is occupied by the introduction into practice of a systematic approach to the training of midwives in educational institutions.
