Regional management of sustainable ecosystem development

The article discusses aspects of sustainable development of the ecosystem of the region on the basis of a value-oriented approach declaring the provision of economic and social value. It is proved that the implementation of the sustainable development goals of the regions requires consideration of intersectoral processes to ensure policy coherence. A critical analysis of the approaches used in Russian and foreign practice to classify and evaluate regions according to the level of socio-economic development is carried out. The models of regional ecosystem management are proposed taking into account the imperatives of sustainable development, factors and indicators that determine the economic and social value of the equilibrium development of the ecosystem of the region are indicated.
