Sergey Bobrov in Summer of 1913. Once Again about the Frustrated Magazine of the “Lirica” Group
The author makes assumptions about the position of Bobrov on the issue of the magazine by the publishing house “Lyrica” on the basis of two letters of Sergey Bobrov, presented in this paper for the first time. He enters into a furious dispute with Sergey Durylin and Yulian Anisimov, who follow the conservative line of attracting the largest symbolists to the magazine. Bobrov fears, it will limit opportunities for him to publish his own poems, as well as the poems of his closest associates Nikolay Aseev and Boris Pasternak. Bobrov essentially defends a new direction of the magazine, opening the way for young talent.
