The effects of CT/PT error, A/D quantization error and protocol quantization error of DC electronic transformer on electric energy measurement were studied. It was pointed out that the comprehensive error test of measurement performance of DC electronic transformer should be carried out, and the channels should cooperate with each other to reduce the comprehensive error. To verify the necessity of using synthetic error to evaluate the energy metering performance of DC electronic transformer, an experimental test was carried out on a 0. 2s DC electronic transformer before and after channel cooperation. The test results showeded that the existing test specifications and management procedures cannot guarantee the measurement performance of DC electronic transformers. For the merging units that meet the requirements of 0. 2S test specifications, the error of electric energy measurement may exceed 1% before channel coordination.
